For those film lovers who want a little more, we’re launching a monthly film club to run all year long playing a hand-picked selection of recent international feature films that we think you’ll love. Keeping with our guiding principle, all these films have a warm beating heart, but in this program we’re open to more artistically adventurous expressions of this spirit. So sign up and come with us on a journey through the best of contemporary cinema!
Film Club will be held afternoons at the Gympie Cinema on the first Sunday of the month. Films will be introduced by a member of the Heart of Gold team.

SUBSCRIPTION DETAILS
Film Club screenings are only accessible to Film Club members, no tickets will be available on the door (although you can sign up instantly, right here!) We’ll have a list of current members at the event so no need to bring a ticket or proof of membership. Unfortunately you can’t credit tickets or purchase tickets to individual session, due to the rules around film screening rights. But we’ve priced the club so that if you miss a session, it’s still a good deal!
VOLUNTEER FOR FREE MEMBERSHIP
We’re looking for some volunteers to help regularly with ticketing and bar setup on the day, and can offer free membership for the work. If you’re interested, let us know at info@heartofgold.com.au.
FILM PROGRAMME
Films will be announced 1 week in advance of each session. This allows us to keep our programming fresh and responsive to audience response and the latest trends in cinema and the world!
SESSION DETAILS
The precise session time (it’ll always be between 1 & 3pm start time) will be announced at least a week prior to the event, once the cinema has locked its week of session times. For now you can put ‘A Great Film’ in your diary for the afternoon of the first Sunday of each month.

BILLING
Billing recurs automatically every 3 or 6 months (depending on the period selected). You can turn off auto-renew any time after you’ve purchased the membership - if you need help with this just get in touch. All funds go to registered not-for-profit Heart of Gold International Short Film Festival Inc.

HEART OF GOLD MEMBERSHIP
Film Club membership is different to Heart of Gold membership! Confusing, sorry, but it’s all to do with film rights and NFP rules. We’d love you to join both!
